The communication and information technology have grown leaps and bounds and made impressive advances facilitating the present era. But whether the fruits of this revolution are a boon or a curse is a moot point. The revolution, which paved the way to globalisation began when the ancient people started painting the pictures of animals and surroundings on the walls of the caves. No wonder, humans have now learnt to communicate at the speed of lightning.

Responding to such fraudulent calls or messages could result in the phone being blocked, increase in user’s bill or the data being deleted. The smartphones are more vulnerable to attacks as anti-virus software is not competently sophisticated.

Nevertheless, sometimes people are not only robbed of their money by being in contact with strangers who they only know through these sites, but they have also known to land themselves in great trouble.

The moment you install them on your smartphones, your device is cloned and the hacker gets all your information regarding, contact details, etc. which they use for robbing you of your hard-earned money. Then, there are games that go to the extent of luring and frightening the kids to an extent that some have ended up losing their lives.
