Your Spell Shrouds Me

An evocative love poem, by Zaid, exclusively for Different Truths.

Holding hands together walking down the aisle
Undaunted by the hurdles which still abound rife.
A tantalizing tinge which then crept on us
So far unscathed moving on from the mess.
Fortunate stroke of serendipity which came my way
What most valuable it did is into my life undoubtedly your foray.
Unable to say getting you could have ever been due to uncanny Duke.
Which inordinately resembles a gracious fluke.
Unsure of when it occurred to be ready to spend with you a life
Your spell still seems to shroud me
Perhaps, the moment my heart got captured by you
Your love only abounds here, no chance elsewhere
Raptured by the delicate string that seems bridging our hearts together
Never get untied with you is my only avid.
Will always be ready to tail your path with rapid.
Tailing behind every trace of your bodily scent
Perceiving whatever it is to me meant.
Contrivances of mine could never overwhelm you! Remember.
But your silly ravings even interest me and will always! Forever…
