Window of Peace

A global citizen’s prayers, in this verse Rituparna, imagines oneness of people, places and religions. An exclusive for Different Truths.

Sitting by the sky hugging
outlet of my abode,
I keep on travelling from
Mathura to Medina,
I keep on meandering from
Punjab to Vatican,
I keep on ambling from
Lumbini to Israel.
Morning aarti to evening
azaan,
Sunday Church bells to
Thursday Sajdaa,
Pagoda prayers to
Synagogue scriptures
hum inside my ears.
Rests in my global village,
the window of peace.
