Unmasking the Priceless Treasures of Love

Step beyond the glitz, and discover love’s true worth: Rupa’s poem whisks you on a journey, exclusively in Different Truths, unveiling the hidden language of love in everyday moments.

Fragrant blossoms of the season
perfumes celebrity-endorsed in fashion
fancy chocolates, delicious mouth-melting
gems, chiffons, silks, feather-caressing
delicacies and cuisines for fine dining
Gifts and surprises spell aloud, love, caring...

To me, love transcends buying and shopping
I find it priceless. precious love in hiding...

Whispered prayers for wellbeing
father’s care spoken less, more doing,
siblings unasked, readily helping
slipped-in nutrients in mother’s cooking,
carving of larger parts out of love, serving

well wishes from elders and their sincere blessings
receiving calls to ensure safe travels, landing
sleeping less for other's troubles listening
knowledge spread, that helps many by sharing

Words of comfort when low, sad, or crying
honest critique sans judgement, uplifting
when chips are down, lend a hand helping,
when unwilling to share, space-granting
silent presence for strength, gracing
couple long-together frequently bickering.

Love languages are divinely engineered,
they encompass love unique, not in any way weird.
