Twinkles in Confinement

Here are eight, evocative short poems by Ram Krishna, exclusively for Different Truths

1 Mask

I warn him
“I will unmask you”
A pandemic arrives

2 Dreams

In confinement
Dreams often come
Malnourished

3 Eyes

Earlier
They had curious eyes
Now
I find them forensic

4 Face

Distant
Eclipsed faces
What is in a face?

5 Struggle

Thoughts are elusive
Groping like
Cache, on a laptop

6 Nature

Politely, Nature asks Man
What is your nature? Says Man,
Mind your nature!

7 Colour

In a rainbow
White and Black are missing
Desirable

8 Namesake

Honour thy name!
Nature tells mankind
At least, for namesake
