Timeless Tranquil Stories in the Mountains

I’m walking endless miles
In moonlit forests
The quiet splendor of sunrises
Sitting under ancient trees
Wondering at distant galaxies
Seeking stories they want to tell
Raindrops on ferns and their trickling
Down the wavy edges
Long walks along hilly roads
Playing with mist and fog
And when the game is done
The welcoming brew
Of two leaves and a bud

Books aplenty, their enchanting fragrance
Wafting through the pale sunshine
And down far, far below
The rhythm of the hilly stream
Winding and sparkling to narrate
Magical tales of wise hill folk
Till the day wanes to golden sunsets
With promises of more tomorrows
My stories…
And their timeless characters
So elusive…so eternal
