This Love is No Ordinary Love

A love that withstood time and trials is stable and endearing, pens Sarala, in this poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

This love did not happen yesterday
It took years to understand each other
This love withstood many trials
From all sides
But we boldly faced all without fear
This love is divine and pure
We cannot do without each other
We are two bodies and one soul today
We have no arguments
We hold each other in trust sublime
No one can intervene in our love
It's our heart's desire
How sweet is this love, how blessed are we!
Everyone envies us with evil eyes
But our love  for each other
Is too difficult to break
As we nurtured this love
For years from the core of our hearts
This love is patient
This love endures
This love weeps
And smiles many a time
God in his mercy has blessed us
For happiness forever
We have little means
But we are happy with what we have
We don't envy our rich friends
We give them solace when they are
In trouble
This love is noble at heart and charity we do give
This love is no ordinary love
It's above all trivial issues we face
and happiness invades our
hearts forever, never to leave us in this life!
