The Odyssey of Life: Beyond Trials and Tribulations

Here’s Ritambhara evocative poem about life and faith in God, in Different Truths.

In the blink of an eye, everything rejiggered
The world that existed a second ago, is a distant dream
Bright days turned into gloomy nights
No purpose we seem to be left with
Shattered in the corner sobbing we lay
Utterly wildered, we cry in dismay.

Has life really been a cruel tyrant?
No, life is a mixed palette infuriating at times.
Motely life why do we tend to ignore?
Ah! We only count the miseries that come our way.
Dejection engulfs in all its say.

What about the golden moments it has bestowed?
Count your blessings, the triumphs that came your way.
The vagaries of life lie in trials and tribulations
Trust the Supreme, for He unfolds the sacred mysteries of life.
