The Grace of Love: Finding Humility in Unity

Shernaz delves into the themes of separation and love, emphasising the interconnectedness of all individuals, exclusively for Different Truths.

Separation — a narrative
embedded in hostility and dread
the arrogance of the ego
the acrimony of hurts
birthing severance

Love — the legend of trust,
the marriage of faith and hope
of compassion and kindness
out of which is born unity
a knowing that there is no other

You and he and I and she
are all interconnected elements
of one united whole
we all belong together
in an inseparable dimension

There’s an inexplicable
wondrous Grace
that saturates us with its lustre
let’s accept it, heads bowed,
in gratitude and humility.
