The Education

Here’s Diwakar’s social commentary on the futility of the education system, in this poem, in Different Truths.

What you read throughout,
Does it ever matters,
Oh God! Marks I say,
You will get in platters,

Reading without understanding,
Rat race is continuously on,
If you think you will paint the sky,
That time of knowledge is gone

Learning isn’t creative,
School believes in blindness
Family values are at stake,
Monetary sages are relentless,

Now it’s just killing time,
Without connecting the future,
Forget about becoming hero, with this,
You can’t even become a sane creature.
