She Walks in Beauty

A poignant poem that transcends the beauty of Nature into the divine realm, by Deeya, exclusively for Different Truths.

A girl walks with fireflies
In her hair and makes
Paper boats of love in celestial lights

They wear fins and hangs down
The balcony of moon to sing a Sonata

The girl sets sail these boats one by one
Among faraway lands never to return

The lighthouse songs within
The four walls of my room
Fill the air with resonance
And I mend them from falling

Suddenly the sky topples
And the God of my belief wades miles
The constellation of stars is birthed,
The Centaurus.

The girl wears those secret stars
In her very scarlet bosom
Her eyes. The Gateway to Babylon.
