Scintillating Seasons

An evocative Nature poem, by Monika, exclusively for Different Truths.

Like a teenager, O’ Weather! You’re fickle-minded.
One moment cascading shimmery beam
with appeasing sunshine and gleam.

The next moment, you grow dark.
Sulking, defying the Sun
and scaring to slay with a storm.

Few moments you act ambivalent.
Teasing us with the schemes of chill and warmth.
You rile  and then reconcile.

And with all these changes
our feelings too falter.
Revelling or mourning.
