The festival of colours, Holi, brings hope in a world that was struggling with Coronavirus. The Ukraine-Russian war is a new threat. Sarika shares Coconut Rabri to make Holi joyous, exclusively for Different Truths.
Our life has completely changed in two years. The Novel Coronavirus showed us a completely new perspective of life. We lost many lives, at the same time learnt a lot too. We learnt how to stay at home and can manage everything, literally everything in life. Experts say that the real war of Corona will begin after the Corona crisis is over. The economic problem, social problem, education problem and many more. This pandemic touched everyone’s life brutally.
The news of Corona gradually started fading out, with a baby step, now another war is raging between Ukraine and Russia. Why can’t we have a peaceful life? Why does life have to be so complicated? We teach our children to keep calm, everything will be fine, what a lie we are passing to our next generation. Instead, I feel let them know, the world is not walking on a red carpet. It is complicated, filled with anger, hypocrisy, jealousy, power. Let’s prepare ourselves for it.
I agree, we must show the positive side of life to children. Their self-image builds up only with positive and loving messages from their loved ones. A healthy self-image is very important for a child’s confidence. No matter what the situations around us, we have to protect our next generation by showering love and positivity. Festivals are one of the important ways through which we can pass best to children.
Festivals and celebrations teach life skills, creativity, teamwork, cultural skills and beyond. India is one of the most amazing vibrant countries in the globe with several festivals, each with its unique tradition and the reason too.
Vasant Panchami/Holi is the festival every Indian celebrates every year during the spring season. The last two years are like years of learning, almost no grand celebrations happened on earth due to Coronavirus. This year looks promising. Hope people can rejoice in the much-awaited festival this time of the year.
