On the Backroad to Hana

An evocative poem and a painting by Toni celebrating nature, beauty and divinity, exclusively for Different Truths.

On the backroad to Hana, angels meet
protecting waterfalls and nature's trails
Along forbidden routes of oh so sweet
white horses accept fruit as toll's unveil

Passed are pebbled beaches and black sands too
through thickets of rainforests, brambled loops
Beauty while travelling Kipahulu
angel Noelani guides white horse troops

Seven Sacred Pools reflect in her eyes
A most majestic tour no one denies
