Mind

A reflective and inward-looking poem, by Rajashree, exclusively for Different Truths.

Many shades of blue
Its difficult to prove
The mind operates through you
Can it be dropped, with alternatives
can one move
If move mindlessly, will the
truth be revealed to you!

A war zone!
Heart fights with mind when
a desire passes through,
Hardly one can escape and
return to the rhythms of life.
If you lose, thrown to a prison

Mind functions through senses
If channelised with all its
energy would reveal heaven.
The clouds of hallucination
may knock you down to hell

All that is beautiful
Is visible through mind
All that is ugly, is hidden behind
Be its master
With subtle logic
you can be a creator

Mind is a gateway of the world
Let’s behold nothing but
that loving force manifested
in everything on earth, even in
a grain of sand.
