Lost Humanity

Sarala rues about lost humanity and how girls are unsafe. She ends with a note of hope, exclusively for Different Truths.

Where’s the humanity gone
Which we cherished for so long
Free we were to walk and talk
Any time of the day and night
Now girls are scared of hooligans
They are scared to step out of their homes
Looking only thru the windows
To see the sun moon and stars
And to feel the soothing breeze
Blowing freely for all
Oh, the lost humanity!
Come back with a plunge
And stay with us forever
Helping us to lead a life
Like before
Where dreams bloomed
Like spring flowers
Spreading love’s fragrance
Among everyone
All singing songs of peace and
Humanity and a happy life
Made their cheeks rosy
And eyes sparkled like stars
In the sky
Oh lost humanity
Come and hold hands
Let’s walk the path
With care and serenity!
