Liveliness

Sarala celebrates the vivaciousness of a girl, in this woman-centric poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

Look at that beautiful girl
She is full of life in her
Her eyes sparkle with love
for life
She sings as she walks along
Taps her feet in rhythm
She is a lively girl
pure and adorable
A divine girl with hymns
On her lips always
Rich in her heart tender
Feels for the poor always
Nothing worries her
As she has trust in her creator
Who will provide her daily bread
Nothing more she aspires for
Her smile is charming and bright
Her two long plaits swing left to
right as she walks
Sometimes pinned up in a bun with a red rose tucked on the side
Her anklets sing music of heaven
She is altogether a wonderful creation God who is her provider she knows
She loves very simple dresses
which adds to the purity of
her soul!
She visits all worship places
taking flowers in a basket
to adorn the altars of grace
singing sweet hymns as she walks
barefooted not hurting the mother earth!
Everyone loves her for her innocent ways and all bless her well in her life!
