A Yogi, a Brahmachari

Reading Time: 1 minute

An ascetic herself, Vatsala pays her tribute to a and a (celibate) in this verse.

I met a yogi, a Brahmachari,
Little did he speak to me,
But I felt in many lives,
he’d been guiding me.

The aasans –
he knew them all,
To seekers he taught them all,
He said,
“Yoga blesses good to all”.

The Vedas, The Upanishads –
he’d studied them all,
In his eyes sparkled
like bright ,
His sermons spread unveiled truth ,
wisdom for all.

In his charisma glowed faith in ,
From his smile wise to all zeal flowed.
