Lionel Messi in Talks with Manchester City for €700m Deal on a Five-year Contract

Lionel Messi terminated his contract with Barcelona recently. He is in talks with Manchester City for €700m deal on a five-year contract. An exclusive report for Different Truths.

Barcelona seems to be struggling to hold their player for another season. As per the European media, the Argentine footballer has agreed on a whopping €700 million deal with Premier League giants Manchester City.

Messi has stopped attending Barcelona’s training session. He also terminated his contract about ten days ago through fax. Spanish management has been trying everything to make the most outstanding player ever stay.

A report in UK-based publication, The Daily Record, said that Messi is in talks with City Football Group (CFG). They have offered Messi a whooping €700 million deal over five years to play for Manchester City and New York City FC.

There are also reports that Messi is unhappy with the performance of the team following its trophy-less season and 8-2 defeat by Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Messi also stated that he is no longer their player after the termination of his contract using an exit clause.
