Let me go…

A poignant, sad poem from Susmita about the many characters that she played in her life and her adieu to all. Dark and despondent, a soulful verse here.

Lost in this world for more and more,
Not knowing what for,
Enough never seems to be there,
Craving are endless here.
Be it material things or people around
My heart can never be calmed.
A throb I feel like a pain inside,
Still not feeling satisfied.
For what am I weaning,
This question is still ringing,
Deep inside me a strong tide is raging,
Yes, yes, I feel it, it’s my heart beating.
Now I know it’s not endless things I desire,
But a long far-fetched peace to settle the fire.
The flame that has been burning so long,
Today, I know it is so strong.
Let me go to my world of nowhere,
Love abundance and gratitude shall I share.
Don’t hold me back anymore my dear,
My heart and soul knows no fear,
Set me free from all the shackles of life,
My calling is strong now I am shall take my dive.
Bow to all characters I played,
Love, life and relations dearer,
I am exiting the stage of the world forever…
