Germination

A sensuous love poem that celebrates nature, exclusively for Different Truths.

Swimming in the rain…
The two mingle,
To bequeath eternal peace
They had twins last month
Elements which bring tears –
of Excitement, Ecstasy
The superfluous of life
You wait for Eternity…

In a dry,
arid plateau
It rains ….rains for days together ..
The seed germinates,
the land did not have crops,
for years….
You plough, you wake up,
run to the fields,
Women dance in joy…
Sounds of trumpet,
Songs of life, songs to live,
Praising Indra,
the Shiva ..
The dry ponds fill in
It rains …
in abundance…
Jayanti, Nusrat, Krishna, Kasim,
Jump into the pond
Swimming in the rain…
Laxman is all in tears…
Twins born of Radha..
Its raining … Tears …
of pure Pleasure,

Exuberance,

in the plateau…
