Freedom: A Culture of Forgiveness

An inward-looking poem that searches the true meaning of freedom, by Molly, exclusively for Different Truths.

When will we rise up
        to that level   
of
free thinking,  
           freedom                                      
when we stop
       raking up, the unsolvable
       mistakes of the past…
time out for them!
 
when we stop
          scratching up
old wounds to
                  fester
licking them
      up again
            and again                      
maligning 
         mindsets...
 
the present 
            matters…
its challenges
         possibilities...
 
let us foster a
    culture of forgiveness
                which has
space for all…
 
Let us grow into
         that freedom
of essential
                   human goodness,
          finding our true 
              happiness
in others’
             happiness
not in their
           unhappiness…!
 
into that level
            of freedom
let us rise up....!
