Fragrance of Art

Kiren celebrates the creative process of art, in this poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

People call me, a butterfly
From flower to flower fluttering by
The focus that keeps shifting along
From one interest to spotting another.
Shifts occurring every now and then
It made me stop to think
What could the reason be!

‘Isn’t that good so to speak?’
My Inner Being talks to me.

Set the fire of desire, an urge
To learn something new.
Don a hat with every new craft.
Create… break…create…
‘A New You’ like a new game,
Just as you stumble,
Fall and then rise again!
Learn to be…
Then become.
Closer to a new Being!
A creation new every time!
Unfolding a new chapter of life
Fluttering the colourful wings
Drink the sap of sweet nectar.
Lucky you…That you are a butterfly!
Savouring flavours of varied art
For creativity flows …
Like a river crossing all pebbles.
Creating myriad forms!
Let the ink flow and words evolve
Let the colour spread and brushes stroke
Let the cuckoo’s sing a soulful song,
Let the fingers dance like a master chef
Stop not… stop not
Delve in the spectrum of art
I am there present in every part
Let creativity take various forms,
Try the hands of your heart’s desire
For there will be joy with rippling effect
Expand and open, stretch your arms
Let the being smile in every pore
In every fragment of my Art!
