Faith’s Steadiness

An evocative poem about love and faith, by Anoucheka, exclusively for Different Truths.

I saw it, I felt it, I was graced by a vision of it
A vision given to me in a dream
A dream in which the Mother Goddess
Whispered to me
Those sweet songs about us being
Celebrated as a marital couple
Once, there, where souls are created
And where fate lines are drawn!

She sang of her being willing to save us both
Only if we do allow each other
To break down those walls around ourselves
And to love each other,
As passionately as fire consumes everything
That lies in its way!

Pray, Love,
Should we sway harmoniously with the will
Of it all,
Someday, you shall stand over Death as it kneels
In front of you
And you shall command him as per your whims!
Yes, Love,
Someday,
We shall again be celebrated,
Not only in this world,
But there,
There, where it all started,
There where Love gets its name,
Where Time fears to approach,
Where Eternity resides,
Where Talent is created,
Where Passion rules,
There where everything is given a meaning.
