Djerba

An evocative and surreal poem, by Deeya, exclusively for Different Truths.

The wind like a stray cat
fond in its attempt to search
for its abandoned home
in this land, mews

This land, a mud of magic
from its deadly cavern
elopes with the fair wind
the maiden, Ursa Major
influencing impulse of moments

This land, rotates upon
the axis of life of death
coaxes the silvery serene out of the
twilight. The light of the Lotus-Eaters.
