Changing Realm

Shwetha talks about the many facets of change, in this poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

Everything changes…
Every green leaf dries out
giving birth to others.
Every pretty smile fades.
Soul matures.
Thoughts travel miles.
Aura gets shaded.
You get married.
Everyone flies higher to
achieve a great life.

And all...
The thing you lose forever,
The thing your parents lose
That you never thought to,
Are the love, affection, and days
we attained the springtime of life.
You can feel
But never and never as before.
