Beacons Glowing

Ketaki celebrates the beauty of Nature, a dark night lit up by fireflies, in this verse, exclusively for Different Truths.

Fireflies…I saw a constellation,
The other night of magic,
Guiding my soul on a journey.

Against a backdrop of dark bushes,
Surrounded by tall wild, waving grass,
Studded with specs of living little diamonds,
Glowing hopes of amazing delight.

The trees stood,
Sketched in charcoal,
Against the deep velvet indigo sky,
The fireflies opened their wings,
Embraced, twined joyfully in their twirling,
Dancing beacons of light,
Like floating golden baubles…
Moving energies of mesmeric fairy lights.

Aliens floating in the silence of night,
Creating corridors of the mind,
With the fireflies streaming,
Gleaming and meandering,
Dancing with abandoned delight.
Living and loving in the moment.

You showed me the magic of pure love.
Nature’s each moment of joy.
In the quiet pauses of forest solitude,
In a night that brings on light,
The fireflies were our beacon of delight.
