Awake but Asleep

Life is full of deception, says Elsy, in this verse, exclusively for Different Truths.

One wakes up
only if asleep,
falls asleep
only if awake.

Some are ever asleep,
some, seemingly asleep!
None can wake them up!

Walking asleep
they hear without listening,
stare without seeing.

Awareness is alien to them.
Awareness is wakefulness.

Nights inside
should be emptied outside,
and refilled with light!

Some pillow their heads
on Light,
others on Night.
It is a matter of choice.
