Authority Reveals Who’s the Author!

Sushmita delves into the layers of authority and authorship. A Different Truths exclusive.

Theories and phenomena, aspects and attributes, why’s and what’s, how’s and when’s, regarding and involving, forming and governing life, we could be taught, we could be made to understand, and even prodded and goaded, forced and coerced to follow, but their truth, their true experience we cannot be taught.

… it is also becoming an undeniable realisation that truth is what we perceive and hence experience as true.

Forced we might be, and are, not just externally but by the imprinted and impacted impulsions imposed by the conditioning handed down over the years and lifetimes, genetically, culturally, socially affected environmentally by all such and many more environments. But assimilation and true following come only through those moments of “direct experience”, through those undeniable and unmistakable communications, of and by truth, and when the reception is to such communiqués, it is also becoming an undeniable realisation that truth is what we perceive and hence experience as true.

Then, truth transcends the barriers and proves itself as barrierless, affirming that though beliefs govern our perception, when the perception changes, the belief too changes, and understandably as life is ever in a state of flux.

So, to claim authority of and for something, to proclaim self as an authority is a subtle and at times not so subtle reflection of ignorance.

So, to claim authority of and for something, to proclaim self as an authority is a subtle and at times not so subtle reflection of ignorance. Everything, at each moment, leads us to something ‘new’ (for us) in it that makes us wonder and accept that, how little we knew and thus know of that thing and everything. Nothing eludes this bracket!

Every manifestation is a corresponding unmanifest energy mirrored. E = mc2!

Brought I am thus to the recollection, yet again, in consonance with this communiqué by ‘authority’: “Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.” It is Albert Einstein, conveying this truth, though claiming himself not to be an authority and how could he and how would he? After all, he was blessed with the sight of the insight of an all-encompassing truth: Every manifestation is a corresponding unmanifest energy mirrored. E = mc2!

Every seer and realised being, each avatar, through the annals of eternity, claim not authority, rather, have shared — and that too as a solemn and sacred duty, divine responsibility — their realisations. As to what all formed their divine impulsions, is not the matter here, and cannot be, as that would mean claiming an authority of the aspects, of truths, guiding and governing their lives.

What forms the matter is the revealed in authority, and concurrently, the superficiality in the claims of authority. How many times the word has been used, in and through the consciousness, know not. But with the revealed, as is the acknowledgment of and elation over the hitherto concealed, so is the admittance of the acceptance, again, of how little we know — that is, if we truly know — of anything.

Words presenting themselves as one of the commonest and most potent means, modes and tools of expression and communication…

Words presenting themselves — surrendered fully and thus realising their purpose — as one of the commonest and most potent means, modes and tools of expression and communication, too, thus keep revealing their hidden treasures, hidden by and because of the sheaths of ignorance and corresponding unawareness and revealed in a pristine and sparkling moment of irrefutable clarity, a gracious unbeknownst receptivity rending the sheath, dispelling the cloud-cover.

In such moments, as are the nuggets received, in that clarity as the truth is seen, it looks not back for the affirmations of precedence, it looks not back for proof in the authority of a dictionary nor in the ledger of any predecessor’s experience and confirmation, and nor does it wait for or look forward to its external acceptance.

That moment, its undeniable content, its impact, its depth, the level of its perception, its impelling force matter solely, the inner acceptance mattering, mattering the intent and honesty of acceptance, accepting along with the truth that the presently revealed could change its face, nothing out of the bracket of evolution.

The clarity claims not authority, deems and redeems no superiority or inferiority whatsoever

The clarity claims not authority, deems and redeems no superiority or inferiority whatsoever, affixes no fixity, one simply reveling in the truth of that revelation, knowing: one is not the author, truly, of anything, there is just one author, the one True Authority!

The revealed, and one of the reasons behind the thus outpoured is the self-accepting, self-revealing, self-answering query: Is authority related to and a derivative of ‘author’?
