Sucharita Dutta-Asane is an award-winning writer and independent editor. Her debut collection, Cast Out and Other Stories (Dhauli Books, 2018) has been reviewed in various magazines and newspapers including the Sahitya Akademi journal Indian Literature. Sucharita received the inaugural Dastaan Award (2013) from the Pakistan based Papercuts Magazine for her short story ‘Rear View’ and the Oxford Bookstores debuting writers' (second) award for Jungle Stories (2008).
