Sreemati Sen

With a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Social Work from Shantiniketan, Sreemati has worked in the development sector for a while. Rehabilitation of child labourers, microfinancing for rural women and Tsunami relief were some of the core areas before moving into qualitative research. Later she quit work to join her husband in his place of posting. Their stint in every city is for a maximum of two years. This period gave her an opportunity to explore the geography, its indigenous culture, network with the experts and pen down her experiences. This is now her passion and vocation.
