A Tribute to my Grand Old Lady!

Sehar pays tribute to her Alma Mater, St. Mary’s Convent, Allahabad, in this verse, in Different Truths.

Oh! How beautiful she looks today!

Every bystander, every passer-by stops to admire her.

She looks majestic yet so elegant

She stands tall with pride and honour

The world marvelled at her grace bows down with humility

My grand lady though turning old doesn’t fail to turn heads.

They salute her indomitable spirit

The ones who walked through those gates know what it is to be under her vigilant eyes.

Her vigour, her spirit, has passed down across generations and families.

The bloodline called Marians, today walk with delight, fervour and excitement across the

streets of the city

As our grand old lady turns 150!
