A New Beginning: Autumn’s Awakening and Nature’s Transformation

In this evocative poem, Monika serenades nature, as summer ends, autumn begins with blossoms, leaves show their first blush, and leaves bid farewell—exclusively for Different Truths.

After these dribbles and drizzles,
the weather Gods shall inscribe the Sun.

A consent of summer lifting,
with the Sizzling Sunny days to an end.

Ahead awakens the Fall;
blossoms and blooms will yawn.

Everyone; young, old and children
with new ardour, step, and stride.

Their faces touching the breeze
for the incipient kiss of autumn-feel.

And for once, rapture will arrive
surely, not with a cascade of rain.

The leaves everywhere would flaunt
their first nascent autumnal blush.

The paths bathed by night's scanty downpour
Yet, the sky above promises no more.

Eventually, the strolls and shelters will dry

but the leaves will leave their abodes.

Making promises to be back.
Humming, “See our last smiles while we depart!”
