Why is it that some people do well in certain situations, while others do not? Why are some people who work very hard not successful, while some who seemingly do nothing achieve ridiculous success? Is it luck? Is it chance? Is it ‘being in the right place, at the right time’? Let’s look at some basic physical laws and try to figure this out. Find out what Nita has to say.
Anyone who has studied physics can tell you that the Universe and everything in it is basically composed of energy. This energy is governed by a law that applies to us too, as we are made of the same energy that makes up the Universe. This energy vibrates at different frequencies. Energy that vibrates at certain frequencies is subtle and not visible to us. But, the energy that vibrates at certain other frequencies is dense, and that visible to us. This means that all that we see on earth, is that dense energy.
What is this law that governs this energy? And how can we use it to our advantage? This law is called The Law of Attraction. It is just – Like Attracts Like. In other words, we simply know it as birds of a feather flock together. But how does a bunch of crows flying together affect our life? And why do we need to know about it?
Our thoughts are subtle energy. So when we think a thought, we are sending out a wave of energy, vibrating at a certain frequency, into the Universe. Exactly 17 seconds later, the Law of attraction kicks in. The thought acts as a magnet and pulls another similar thought to it. Just 17 more seconds later, at the 34 second mark, more such thoughts join in and this process repeats itself at 51 seconds too. This is the reason why we say Like Attracts Like. And at the 68 second mark, these thoughts are strong enough to affect a manifestation. This is how thoughts become things.
This also means that we create things that we think about. Since the Universe is based on the Law of Attraction, it keeps giving us what we think about – whether we want it or not. So when we see something we like, and we say to the Universe, ‘Yes, I want this!’ the Universe gives it to us. And when we see something we do not like and we say to the Universe, ‘No! I don’t want this,’ the Universe still gives it to us.The Law of Attraction based on the fact that the Universe does not understand the word ‘No’. It just gives us what we focus on.
To use the Law of Attraction to our advantage, we need to understand a process. We all experience some good situations and some bad situations in our life. So let’s call the good situations, wanted situations and call the bad situations, unwanted situations. So there is some wanted and some unwanted in our lives.
When we face wanted situations, we’re happy. What happens when we face unwanted situations? We don’t like it at all. But it is a necessary first step to getting what you want. How? When you realise what you don’t want, what also becomes clear is what you want. You can only get what you want when you know ‘what you want’. Imagine going to the shop and telling the shopkeeper that you want to buy something. He starts showing you a few items, but you say, ‘I don’t want this, or this, or this’. The shopkeeper is going to ask you to specify what you want, rather than keep rejecting what you don’t want, right? It’s the same with the Universe. When we focus on what we don’t want, the Universe cannot give us what we want. It is only when we focus on what we want that it can come to us.
But who, ever wants to meet with an accident? And yet so many people meet with accidents every day. Are they actually inviting accidents into their lives? No, they are not wanting and inviting accidents but are including them in their lives by thinking about them. What happens when you are watching news on TV and an accident is featured? Or when you open the newspaper in the morning and read about it? Don’t you spend some time reading and focusing on an unwanted event? Energy flows where attention goes.
So, the Law of Attractionis workingin our lives whetherwe are aware of it or not. What we need to understand is how it works and to use it to our advantage in our daily lives.
Life Coaching is a profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client’s personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.
