The Focus of Reality: Understanding Our Perceptions

  1. The Power of Perspective: Understanding Different Realities

Reality is like a kaleidoscope. A hundred different views from every little change of the angle you view it from. Except in reality’s case, that angle happens to be the truth. What you know or don’t know doesn’t matter. People who don’t want to believe the facts render them useless, in hell. That’s why the view of reality changes with how we understand, believe, or interpret knowledge and information of various types. That way of understanding becomes our way of knowing the truth, and since there are many different ways to understand a concept, there are many different versions of the truth, leading to many different views of reality. Among these, those views that are the most common or have occurred to a majority of people are termed versions of reality. Among these versions, usually, the most popular version is taken into account. While not entirely abandoned, the others have a significantly lower number of followers who each have a similar method of arriving at similar truths, which leads to comparable realities.

This way we can say that it all comes down to the way we reach the truth, instead of the truth itself, because if the way is similar, then the truth will automatically be similar too. Sure, there may be some differences, but the overall result will be the same, people reaching a somewhat similar view of their realities, making it a version that may or may not be widely accepted, depending upon the number of people that view, understand, live with, or relate to it. From this, we can say that each version is a view of reality, but not each view is a version of reality.

Those views that are understood by only a few people can be considered minor versions, while those that are widely accepted are major versions. Most people who believe in minor versions of reality are generally considered wrong or weird and are somewhat like outcasts from general society. However, they are not wrong or weird but just have a different view of reality than the major populous. Both these people and the general population are correct in their truths and views of reality. No view or version of reality can be completely negated.

This is hard to grasp or explain, as to do that one would have to take his eye away from the kaleidoscope of reality and view it from the front. But, even then it wouldn’t be enough. To fully grasp it, one would need to view all sides and angles at once, which, as we know, is not possible, at least not in a physical sense. It is however possible if it is considered as a theory and analysed in our mind, where the physical rules don’t apply. Even that is hard though, since our mind is built around the information we gathered from the physical realm and how we processed it.

This is also the reason for most disagreements and fights, both on a small scale like a fight between two students, a medium scale like a food fight, to a large scale like a war between nations, states, etc. So now we come full circle, that in the end the information we gathered and our way of processing it determines everything. In the end, each of us trusts our process and may very well differ from other processes, no matter how small the difference may be. Now, I am not saying that two people can’t have the same process. All I can say is that I am exploring but for now, as per my findings it, I can say that it is near impossible for two people to have the same process of understanding. After all, for all I know most of the people reading this may disagree with all or most of it and I may be proven to have a weird or unique way of understanding which may lead to me believing in a minor version of reality. Other examples of people who believe in minor versions of reality would include alien conspires, Illuminati believers, cults, certain politicians, flat earthers, etc. And no, I am not talking about people who just do these things for fun or pretend to believe. I am talking about the people who truly believe and their truth is just not shared by the majority. People with major versions of reality would include the general populous, business-minded people, etc.
