Arindam’s evocative verse states that poetry is a weapon forged from resilience, triumph, hope, love, unity, and peace, which shelters us in the storm of life—exclusively for Different Truths.
In a world grown cold and dim, Where shadows cast their heavy brim, There is a beacon, burning bright, Guiding us through the darkest night. Poetry, the last hope of humanity, A vessel for our souls' divinity, When words weep and spirits tire, Poetry sets our hearts on fire. In verses woven with artistry, Emotions flow, set wild and free. The poet’s ink spills valiantly. A testament to our humanity. When wars rage with fury unbound, And hatred’s voice drowns every sound. The poet’s pen resists despair. Breathing hope into the dying air. Through haunting images and wistful rhymes, Poetry weaves the fabric of better times, It speaks of love, of unity and peace, Of the human spirit’s beautiful release. In poems, we find solace and healing. A balm for wounds, our hearts revealing, The power to mend, to bridge divides, In words crafted by souls who abide. Let us cherish this beacon of light. This refuge held in our darkest night, For poetry shall endure, forever cope, The last hope is humanity’s resilient hope.
