Here’s Sarala‘s poignant poem of love, longing, and hope, exclusively for Different Truths.
I have lived and loved so many Years but all the pages are blank Why don't you make me a poem? And let me live your heart This lifetime and more I loved you for more than A year without any expectation Let us make our life simple And serene, and live in bliss Forever and more You have been my hero for long And I worship the ground You walked on softly Not hurting the grass beneath I tag along wherever you go In the hope one day you will write the blank pages of my book containing our love story, which will bring joy to everyone's heart If you can't make me a poem At least let me be a poem In your life Let me live in hope that you will never betray me and will one day realise my love and make me a poem in your life I start writing, but I stop As my pen doesn't move When I think of you My book is lying in a corner Of my heart with full of dust I am waiting for you to Fill in the blank pages Which are lying useless now I feel sad looking at the blank pages and hope and pray you will fill in the blank pages of my book not very far.
