Have You Ever…?

have you ever
           talked to
a wall?

When you
            talk to a wall
You get relief,
            unafraid
You can vent out
            your corked up
thoughts, feels

it just stands
            impassive
indifferent
            but listen...

after all
            listening
is what you
            need
a punch box
           to pummel on...

If walls had
            ears
and tongue
            how many
stories
            would they tell....

other than
            walling in
and walling out
            how much
they serve,
these walls...!

have you ever
             talked to a wall...?
