The Dawn

Dr. Piku paints the beauty of the dawn, in word-images, celebrating life, exclusively for Different Truths.

When the foggy morning haze
Mingles with the yellow lights
And the sleepy caws of ravens
The skies then melt in leaden love.
Molten lead in greyish sky
Smog engulfed trees and streets
Sleepy rush and aspirations
Cuddled in cosy feline grace.
Leaden love then seeps in slow
Permeating the half-drawn blinds
Infusing the sleeping souls
With the hues of parting nights.
