The Technology Era

Sarala rues how the technology era has changed every aspect of our lives, an exclusive for Different Truths.

No more writing letters nor phone calls
Cell phone has been the craze for a long
You reach to everyone by the click or tap on the cell
You are connected throughout the world
What an amazing invention
Days have changed
Early morn instead of praying there goes your hands to
 your cell with a smile
Umpteen number of WhatsApp messages to answer and poems
by your friends waiting to be read and liked
So many contests in so many groups
You are waiting for writing yours with excitement
You have put up the tea water and forgot totally
You are busy with your cell while the water got evaporated
Husband waiting for tea,
You quietly make fresh tea, while cell phone on one hand,
A gaze from your hubby darling
Oh, why don’t you put away the cell and let’s have breakfast,
 it’s already 9 am
I adhere to his advice with much hesitation but with a smile
serve him the breakfast in a hurry while myself one hand
holding the cell one hand enjoying my breakfast
Oh, what chaos in the technology world but everyone enjoys it
The digital era has become the fashion although household
work pending to be attended to! Never mind enough time!
