People called her by different names… She blew forth like the wind – Spreading the fragrance of wild roses. She poured forth like the torrential rain- And soothed the Sun burnt baked soil. She wrapped around like the mist- And comforted the souls in the shroud. She wafted in like the clouds- Filling in the vibrance of love in each one’s lives. And thus spake people who addressed her by different names. They raised queries – Regarding her myriad forms. Never Stopping to remember – Durga Kali Saraswathi Lakshmi and Parvathi… Yet, despite addressing her by different names. The Lakshmi in her, prospered. The Saraswathi in her, enlightened. The Parvathi in her, blessed. And the Durga and Kali in her, took to arms to live and let live. And people called her by different names. She treaded a variety of paths, To lead her daughters To be called after her…
