Wish of a Sword

A sword’s wish for peace, by Soma, exclusively for Different Truths.

No longer I want to be
The king’s best armour
No longer I want to be
Famous for my Valour
No longer I want to
Hear the fighter’s roar
No longer I want to be
In the hands of the conqueror
No longer I want to be
Raised in the war
No longer I want to
Remain in power
My wish is to get transformed
Into a pen in the hand of a philosopher
Sword ends in
Death, loss and destruction
Pen brings
Inspiration, motivation and transformation
Act of writing is stronger than
The act of war
Glories of sword cause misery
And does not last forever
Sword only conquer and
Knows to win the goal
But pen conquers someone
Through their heart and soul.
