Eyes Talk a Lot

Eyes hold no secret and talk a lot, agonises Dr. Gita, in this poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

Please don’t keep on asking, to open my eye,
Let me hide something, I really feel very shy,
Honestly, I too don’t know why,
I think, they have already bid you a bye,

Eyes are like an innocent kid,
At times they forget about the forbid,
Not they say, whatever they feel,
Just everything they revel,
Always beans they spill,

Let me make them understand,
What not to say, may be just only a hi,
Let me teach them how to hide the emotions,
Behind the corner of a smoky eye,

Let me explain to them,
These emotions are like vapors,
People name them tears,
If they cross the limit, and roll down my dear,
For those silly looking tears, I have so much of fear,

Let me brief them, what doesn’t look good,
It’s always better to swallow,
May be I’m sounding a bit rude,
Let me say how to wear a mystery in the eye,
So that no one can read, no one can spy,

Silence has already put a blame,
On my eyes name,
That my eyes talk a lot,
Now it’s time to give a space to silence, but,
They are habituated with so much of talk,
I understand they must grow up, they must stop.
