With and Without You…

A poignant and intense poem, by Gargi, exclusively for Different Truths.

This little evening
I inscribe to the leftover fragrance
of your fond absence
that breathes soft and deep
upon the naked ignorance
of your mask, that you hold dearly so.

And I gaze unto your over-sized existence
my passionate plea lost in that crowd.

Alone, I dwell within the abyss
of my misunderstood emotions
the realms of a wasted dream.

I watch you grow a little larger
every hour, in every heart
from true to untrue, I was,
always the inexplicit little lover
loving you so on and so forth
and so absolute with and without you.
