Nothing is in Vain

Atrayee verses the turbulence and toil and despair of life and the resurgence of faith and hope. A Different Truths exclusive.

Frothy waves churn in the ocean of my emotions
And there I smell a mystery hidden.
Those mermaids have woken up again
From their abyssal life
To weave the imprints of their enticing tale.

Crimson surge of thoughts sew my fertile brain
I wonder if it’s real or a dream or everything in vain.
I see them everywhere.
On those cobbled paths
Amidst those forlorn alleys
And forsaken corners.
They are scattered in nameless directions
Only to feed on the despair of my emotions.

I am barren
I am loose
I am wanton
Shackled by the mere thought of failure.

And they? They mock at me.
With their supple fingers they are busy stitching
The threads of love and joy
In the raiment of my faith.
In their dulcet dialect they are busy singing
The lyrics of life, the worth of losing and the value of me.

They tear my name a million times
Only to heal my bleeding soul.
They mangled my fear of losing
Only to fix that warrior’s smile on my mien.

As the sun shines through
I wrap all of them in my dream.
Yes, nothing is real.
Just a progeny of my fertile brain
Which wakes up amidst the darkest clouds
To tell me that Nothing is in vain.
