Dreams

An enigmatic poem on dreams, by Himali, exclusively for Different Truths.

Dreams are soft whispers
Shyly in love

They may hiss as serpents
Snakes coiling on necks

To be found in serendipity
Or in a singing nostalgia

For, dreams are wispy wafers
Changing hues of skyie loafers

Crazy madmen hugging trees
Dreams are falling autumn leaves

Fascinating they come and go
On soft or wet pillows

Some are scraped off as rust
While some make living precious

Repairing the scars
As beautiful as kinsutgi jars.
