It’s Still Okay!

A protest poem by Arun that shows how we take everything for granted, exclusively for Different Truths.

The merciless few spilled blood
All over and killed all, barring the ones
That survived the bloodbath.
It’s still okay!

Rascals looted the people
Of their wealth, but
Their determination to
Accumulate more.
It’s still okay!

Irrational lot behaved crude
And amateurish, forcing
The rational few to bend,
But their resolute will to
Be conscientious!
It’s still okay!

The storm swept that all away –
The treasure, the pleasure,
But indomitable spirit to gather
The self all again and rise
From the ashes!
It’s still okay!
