A tongue in cheek poem by Dr. Amrinder, for Different Truths.
I am neither into chick lit
Nor do I reinvent mythology
Thrillers don’t thrill me
And publishers don’t answer my emails for,
All I do is take a slice of life
A generous bite of a hurting heart,
That I
Toss with emotions and
Sprinkle with the salt of tears.
After seasoning it with sobs
And steaming it with sighs
I imprint up on it a dazzling smile and
Add a dash of bubbling laughter
To cook up a story.I put in all the ingredients that do not sell
And yet, yearn for it to become a bestseller!
