Feel me before it is Too Late!

Here’s a soulful love poem by Lata, in Different Truths.

One day I may not be there to embrace you in my arms,
That day you will fight with the winds that took away your warmth.
One day I may not be there with my soothing touch,
That day you will make it happen which they called tough.
One day I may not be there to hold your hand in the dark,
That day you will surely feel your hidden spark.
One day I may not be there to lay you in my lap,
That day your heart will not allow you to take a single nap.
One day I may not be there to ponder in your eyes,
That day you will be left with just golden memories to surmise.
The heartthrobs once for the single one,
rest is just a compromise,
One day you may feel it as hard as me but I may not be there to smile.
