Child Labour

Reading Time: 1 minute

A poem about social awareness and a against employing a child as a labour, by Sarala, exclusively for Truths.

Carrying heavy loads on their tender heads going through unbearable pains on their shoulders and necks

stooping down, bent, disfigured

with hardly anything to eat except the throwaway by the rich aside

These kids go through a perilous life to feed their family of old parents and siblings

What a shame on us to call us Indians with a rich and spiritual masters!

Oh Lord, come to the of these children help them to go to school and study and and see them grown up and responsible citizens to make a change in ’s conditions!

The time is now –

Don’t wait for others to change

Move on, brethren, move on

Be that change you want

To make –

It’s a question of now or never

Make a move fast

Before everything becomes

A dream

A dream never realised

Due to lack of selfishness and motivation!
